Before joining Century 21 International, Robin served as Manager of Quality Assurance and Standards and Senior Consultant for Telcordia Technologies’ Integrated Learning Solutions organization, as Director of Instructional Systems for New Century Education Corporation, and as Director of Instructional Technology for Bristol-Myers Squibb’s corporate college.
After receiving her PhD in Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation from Syracuse University, Robin taught in the Graduate Program in Instructional Systems Development at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, serving as Coordinator of the Training Systems Concentration and the Computer-Based Instructional Systems Concentration.
Robin’s first career was in educational publishing. As National Mathematics Consultant for Copp Clark/Pitman, she travelled from coast to coast in Canada, working with school systems as diverse as Happy Valley, Labrador; Schubenacadie, Nova Scotia; St Albert, Alberta; and Burnaby, British Columbia. She is a co-author of the popular mathways (sentiers mathématiques) elementary school mathematics series, published by Copp Clark (now part of Pearson Education). For a number of years, she was an independent Metric Consultant to Canadian businesses and school boards.
